Today we went to the zoo with Mrs. Tennille, Bryson, Mrs. Melissa, and Caroline! It was so much fun! All of the mommies enjoyed the great weather and good conversation…and Bryson and the babies enjoyed looking around at all of the animals! The babies did wonderful and were very happy, and Bryson is the best behaved 2 year old boy I have seen!
Tennille and I took Bryson and Sarah Ann to feed the birds nectar. They put the nectar in a small cup, and you hold it in your hand with your arm out straight, and the birds will come and rest on your hand and eat the food. It was really neat! Sarah Ann loved watching the birds flying around, until one decided to take a little rest on her head before coming to my hand to get some nectar. She didn’t cry, but she definitely grabbed onto me very tightly! I guess the birds were a little excited about the nectar!
We had a wonderful time at the zoo today with our friends! We can’t wait to go back again very soon. I didn’t do a very good job taking pictures today, but you can see some more pictures on Caroline’s blog here!
