We are really enjoying our start to the summer! We have had a busy and fun week spending time with friends, being outside, and playing! I love, love, love being at home with my sweet girl! We are really looking forward to lots of fun in the sun this summer…but being in Columbia, that also means we need to be near water!
Today we went to the pool with some of my friends from school, and Sarah Ann loved being in the big pool. I didn’t get to take any pictures, because she preferred that I be the one holding her.
She has become quite attached to me this week, but I’m ok with it! Sarah Ann kicked and splashed and had lots of fun in her turtle float! She also really liked watching Mary Catherine and Stephanie swimming in the pool! We can’t wait to swim with you all again soon!
On Memorial Day we had a cookout with our good friends, the Tuckers and the Hensons. David and Elizabeth were so sweet to get a pool for Sarah Ann to play in! She had so much fun and loved everyone watching her swim.

Sarah Ann also has a little giraffe pool for her to swim in here at home…Here are some fun pictures of her “swimming” in her pool! I think this is the perfect age for her to be at the beginning of summer, because she sits up so well and is so good at playing independently, but isn’t completely mobile yet. She just totally enjoys sitting, splashing, and playing with her toys! We are looking forward to lots more fun in the pool this summer–and I am sure before we know it she will be crawling all around the pool and out of it!
