In honor of Sarah Ann turning seven months old today, I thought I would post seven things that we are finding very sweet about Miss Priss at the moment. There are definitely more than seven, but we’ll stick with these seven favorites for right now…
1. Sleeping with her lovey— Sarah Ann always has to sleep with her lovey and she likes to put it right up to her face.
2. Hairbows— Since Sarah Ann doesn’t have much hair (but it is starting to come in!), she never goes without a hairbow! She doesn’t mind at all wearing them, and she looks simply adorable! Thank you Nanny for all the hairbows!
3. Opening her mouth and waiting for her food— Sarah Ann gets very excited when it’s time to eat. As soon as she is done swallowing, she opens her mouth up again for the next bite. If it is taking us too long to get her food to her, she sits with her mouth open, just waiting for us to put the spoon in her mouth!
4. Discovering her wrist— Sarah loves to hold her toys and shake them. Recently, she discovered that she doesn’t have to move her whole arm, but that she can just bend her wrist. It is so cute!
5. Evening Walks— Now that it stays light for so much longer, we enjoy our “family walk time” around the neighborhood in the evenings. Sarah Ann loves being in the Baby Bjorn with Jeffrey. She loves to look around and laugh the whole time we walk! (This is a really old picture taken on my phone, but I just had to have a picture for each thing.)
6. Giving Hugs and Kisses— Sarah Ann has started giving hugs and kisses. She loves to grab her Mommy’s face and pull me in to give me a kiss! I will cherish these kisses forever!
7. Recognizing her name— When you say “Sarah Ann,” she turns around to look at you! I am sure this will be useful once she starts crawling all over the house!
