Greenville Getaway… March 29, 2009

I was organizing all of Sarah Ann’s pictures, and I found pictures of from our last trip to Greenville before Sarah Ann arrived! I never had a chance to post about this because Sarah Ann made her debut the very next weekend!

The weekend before she was born, we traveled up to Spartanburg and Greenville for one last getaway! My girls had a competition at Dorman (we placed 3rd!), so Jeffrey and I decided we could go spend the night in Greenville. We got a suite with a wonderful view of downtown and the Reedy River! It was wonderful!

The next day, I was able to visit with some sweet friends from college, who blessed us with some wonderful and very necessary gifts for Sarah Ann! It was great to share in all of the excitement with friends!

Now that Spring has arrived, we can’t wait to take Sarah Ann up to Greenville for a much needed visit! We hope to see everyone sometime soon!

Good Times with Friends and Family March 27, 2009

This past weekend Sarah Ann and I went to Atlanta to visit Pops and Uncle Jeremy. Saturday evening lots of our friends and family came over for dinner and to see Sarah Ann. It was great to see everyone, and Sarah Ann enjoyed all of the attention. She is so laid back and happy. She just let everyone hold her and love on her the whole time!

Sarah Ann and Lynsie also got to hang out again, and they were much more aware of each other this time! During their first playdate, they really just layed next to each other. Below are a few pictures of Sarah Ann and Lynsie checking each other out…

Holding On March 15, 2009

Sarah Ann really enjoys bathtime. She loves the bubbles and all the warm water running over her! Just recently she has started holding on to the handle you use to turn the water on. As soon as Jeffrey puts her in she grabs on and doesn’t let go the whole time! Silly girl!

First Trip to the Zoo!! March 13, 2009

Aunt Rachel came for a visit this past weekend, and we decided to take a trip to the zoo because the weather was so great! It was Sarah Ann’s first trip and she had a wonderful time! She is always so alert and loves to look at everything! She has also found out how much fun it is to “talk,” so she is always making noise! We got Sarah Ann a sun hat as a souvenir, and it looks adorable on her!

We bought a membership to Riverbanks, so we can’t wait to go back many, many more times!

We’re so glad you came to visit Aunt Rachel! We can’t wait to see you again soon!

Welcome Anna Claire and Charlie! March 8, 2009

Yesterday our friends, Devin and Kathy, had two beautiful twins–Anna Claire and Charlie. They are doing well, but will be in the hospital for several weeks, so that they doctors can watch them grow big and strong! You can check out their blog here. Please keep them in your prayers!

Sarah Ann has really started enjoying her Bumbo chair…she really wants to be a big girl and sit up! I couldn’t get her to look at the camera in these pictures, because she is too focused on her toys. She loves to play!
