Beautiful Lengths November 29, 2008

A little over a year ago I decided that I was going to grow my hair out and donate it to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths. This summer was very hard to keep growing my hair out, because I was sooo hot all the time being pregnant, but I was determined to donate my hair. We decided that the perfect time to cut my hair would be after Sarah Ann arrived, so that hopefully it wouldn’t take as long for me to get ready anymore! So, last Wednesday, I cut it all off…I was so nervous, but I absolutely love it! Thank you to my friend Emilee for cutting it for me! I am mailing my ponytail off on Monday!

Happy 25th Birthday Mommy! November 19, 2008

Last Friday, I celebrated my 25th birthday and it was by far the best ever since I was able to celebrate with beautiful Sarah Ann!

Sarah Ann and I spent Friday just hanging out at the house and relaxing since it was cold and gross outside. Friday evening my parents came into town, and we celebrated with delicious ice cream cake…Sorry those pictures are on my parents’ camera.

Saturday we watched the Auburn/Georgia game, and even though Auburn lost, we will still a very supportive family!

Saturday evening, Jeffrey took me to the Melting Pot for dinner, so we left Sarah Ann for the first time, which was a little emotional, but she was in the best of hands…Nanny and Pops! They had a great time!

Sarah Ann also had her first bottle while we were gone, and she did great!

I can’t wait to celebrate again next year when Sarah Ann will be moving around like crazy!

First Trip to Target November 12, 2008

Sarah Ann had her first shopping trip last Friday after her doctor’s appointment. Jeffrey headed to work for a little bit after the appointment, so Nanny and Mommy decided to stop by Target on the way home. I would like to say that she had a wonderful experience, but she slept through the whole thing…she never even opened her eyes! We will definitely take her back soon!

One week old already? November 11, 2008

We cannot believe that Sarah Ann is one week old already! Yesterday we kept telling Sarah Ann what we were doing last Sunday and how it was all so very worth it!

We went to the doctor today for a check-up and Sarah Ann is doing wonderfully! She had lost some weight last week, but she is now already back up to her birth weight! She is going to be our little chunky monkey!

My mom stayed with us all last week, and Jeffrey’s mom was here over the weekend, so we are now experiencing our first couple of days with Sarah Ann all by ourselves! Sometimes we still can’t believe that we have a beautiful little girl!

She’s here!!! November 6, 2008

Sarah Ann arrived on Sunday night, November 2 and 11:19 pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21 and 1/2 inches long! We came home on Tuesday afternoon, and she is doing wonderfully!
